2020 Fair Winds Cabernet Franc

The bouquet is pretty and already hinting at the complexity this wine will develop with some time in bottle. What is on show now is violet aromatics with brambles and wild forest plums but this will develop into a heady mixture.

The palate is tight and lean with fantastic length and soft structure that tickles the front and fills the back palate. A lovely balance of peppery earthiness & dark berries leaves a sweet yet savoury intricacy that will develop into a stunning wine over the next 5 to 7 years.
