2020 Make Waves Syrah

The Norfolk Rise Maritime Syrah is a true reflection of our Southern Ocean influenced, cool climate site. Selected shiraz blocks from our vineyard, primarily on terra rossa soils, produce small yields of tightly pack bunches that are picked in early April meaning we have fantastic ripeness with fully ripened flavours along with incredible softness.

We have produced a rich and incredibly soft Northern Rhone style Syrah that is packed full of dark berry fruits and savoury notes of cedar with a distinctive white pepper complexity. Perfect now with a lamb rack or great cheese and it will reward careful cellaring for 5 to 7 years.
